Castor Oil - The Best for Re-Growing and Thickening of Hair, Eyelashes and Eyebrows
The structure of castor oil is simple – it consists of fatty acid triglycerides (more than 90% of them belong to ricinoleic acid). This simple, but unique structure gives castor oil one of the best healing properties among natural oils. It has been scientifically proven that ricinoleic acid has the ability to prevent and eliminate many viruses, bacteria, molds and yeasts.
Castor oil was used since ancient times. People who had problems with constipation first used it orally. In modern times, castor oil is mostly applied on troublesome areas on the human body and it’s taken orally only in rare cases. What many people find useful about this oil is the fact that it is not expensive and more importantly that it is highly effective. In addition, castor oil is used in some industries too. For example, the Russian textile industry uses the stem of this plant.
Castor oil comes from a plant called Ricinus Communis and this plant has its origins in India. Scientists recognize this plant as one of the most beneficial plants when it comes to human health, but this is also one of the most dangerous plants in the world because of its strong toxic properties. Of course, castor oil is not toxic because the process of extraction of castor oil leaves the toxic components in the plant (in the pulp of the seeds).

Castor Oil Benefits and Uses

Tanks to the omega 9 fatty acids, castor oil can help in the process of thickening and regrowing of hair. These acids are stimulating hair growth and strengthen the follicles. Castor oil can easily enter the pores on the head with a simple head massage (use only few drops of castor oil).
Applying castor oil on the body can bring many benefits. As we have mentioned before castor oil contains ricinoleic acid too and this acid is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Castor oil is especially useful in cases of swellings and inflammation.
Even the lymphatic flow, which cannot be affected by any drug, can be improved by applying castor oil on the affected area.
Castor oil can help the digestive system too. It can reduce the effects of many stomach-related problems like constipation, bowel inflammation, gastrointestinal problems etc. In addition, many users have confirmed the benefits they felt in cases of:
  • Yeast infections.
  • Menstrual disorders.
  • Migraines.
  • Ringworm.
  • Athlete’s foot.
  • Acne.
  • Sunburn.
  • Dandruff.
  • Various skin problems.
It is good to mention that castor oil is effective for many different skin problems such as sebaceous cysts, warts, skin tags, itching, keratosis, bursitis etc.
This oil can be used in the form of oil packs too. By soaking a piece of cotton cloth and folding it in several layers, you can easily place this pack on areas affected by swelling. Leave this castor oil pack on the area for around one hour. It is good to put some pressure on the pack for better results.
